The Lord Reigns

Lift your eyes and look to the Heavens:
Who created all these? He who brings
out the starry host one by one, and calls
them each by name.  Because of His
great power and mighty strength, not
one of them is missing.
           ( Isaiah 40:26 *NJKV )
   When the events of this World cause you to be concerned,
remember that our Heavenly Father is in Control!  For;
The Lord
reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude
of isles be glad.                   ( Psalms 97:1 )

Indeed, let the Earth rejoice for time is unfolding just as it
was written!   So do not be stressed about today or the future,
for you are God's Child and He will always be with you!  For;
The eternal God is your refuge and underneath
are the everlasting arms. (Deuteronomy 33:27)

After all, who is God, except the Lord and who is
a rock, except our God?    ( Psalms 18:31 )

So the next time you become worried about the
future of this World, remember these words!
The Lord reigns,
let the earth rejoice.
Yes, let us rejoice indeed!

   Have a Wonderful Week my friend, and my your Week be
filled with peace and love.   Amen.

Children's children are the crown of old
men, And the glory of children is their
father.
       ( Proverbs 17:6 NKJV )
    I received the following message from, one of our Dear
Brothers-in-Christ. It's Subject is: Children.  Now I hope that
you will enjoy the following.....
                       -------------------------------------

    To those of us who have children in our lives, whether they are
our own, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or students... here is
something to make you chuckle.

    Whenever your children are out of control, you can take comfort
from the thought that even God's omnipotence did not extend to
His own children.

After creating heaven and earth, God created Adam and Eve.

And the first thing he said was "DON'T!"

"Don't what?" Adam replied.

"Don't eat the forbidden fruit." God said.

"Forbidden fruit? We have forbidden fruit?
Hey Eve. we have forbidden fruit!"

"No Way!"

"Yes way!"

"Do NOT eat the fruit! " said God.

"Why?"

"Because I am your Father and I said so! " God replied, wondering
why He hadn't stopped creation after making the elephants.

A few minutes later, God saw His children having an apple break
and He was ticked!

"Didn't I tell you not to eat the fruit? " God asked.

"Uh huh," Adam replied.

"Then why did you? " said the Father.

"I don't know," said Eve.

"She started it! " Adam said.

"Did not! "

"Did too! "

"DID NOT! "

Having had it with the two of them, God's punishment was that
Adam and Eve should have children of their own. Thus the pattern
was set and it has never changed.

BUT THERE IS REASSURANCE IN THE STORY!

If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give children wisdom
and they haven't taken it, don't be hard on yourself.  After all,
if God had trouble raising children, what makes you think it would
be a piece of cake for you ?

Near to the Heart of God

Return to me, and I will return to you,"
says the Lord Almighty.
        ( Malachi 3:7 *NIV )
There are times that we may find ourselves walking far
from God.  Know that if ever that happens to you it is
because we have moved, not because God has left us.
The Lord himself goes before you and will be
with you; He will never leave you nor forsake
you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
                                 ( Deuteronomy 31:8 )
Now perhaps we find ourselves feeling abandoned by
God because we are overwhelmed with problems, or
because of the loss of a loved one.  If that is the case
remember that;
He does not willingly bring
affliction or grief to the children of men.
                                 ( Lamentations 3:33 )
Therefore if you ever find yourself feeling far from our
Heavenly Father, remember, that God is there with
open arms to receive you back. So;
Take words
with you and return to the Lord. Say to him:
Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously.
For then He will say; I will heal your backslidings.
( HOSEA 14:2-3 ) ( Jeremiah 3:22 )  After all that
is His promise always; for; Jesus Christ is the
same yesterday and today and forever.
                                 ( Hebrews 13:8 )
So if you are feeling far from God right now; Let us
examine our ways and test them, and let us
return to the Lord. For He loves you very much!
                                 ( Lamentations 3:40 )
Now may; The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine upon you and be
gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward
you and give you peace." ( Numbers 6:24-26 )
and may His; Grace be with you all.   Amen.

( Hebrews 13:25 )
